  • Description
  • Composition

A true exclusive for connoisseurs and collectors of Ukrainian artistic ceramics: a vintage triple-candle holder designed in the form of two stylized fish.
The composition features a self-contained, architecturally balanced form: two fish stand vertically on their tails, their fins touching to create decorative openwork apertures in the center. Three candle sockets are symmetrically positioned—on the heads of the fish and at the apex of the arch formed by their bodies. Every detail—from the large, relief-molded eyes to the textured scales and the ripples on the fins—has been meticulously crafted.
The piece gains a special charm from its complex, two-tone glaze. The rich chocolate-brown of the bodies transitions strikingly into deep emerald-green and olive hues near the stable, shaped base. This color combination creates glossy, flowing glaze effects that shimmer beautifully in the light of a live flame. In folklore, the fish is an ancient symbol of prosperity, purity, and harmony; thus, this candle holder serves not merely as a functional object, but as a bold interior accent—perfect for ethnic, boho, retro, or Art Nouveau styles.
