About the product
•Artistic style: The shape of the product was created according to the samples and sketches of prominent Ukrainian ceramic masters - the couple Nadiya and Valeriy Protoriev.
•Design features: The product is covered with a bright emerald-green glaze (glazed ceramics). Both sides of the body are decorated with a relief floral ornament in the form of a decorative flowerpot or flower.
•Historical period: Such interior items and kitchenware were actively produced in the 1960s–1970s and were exhibited at many Ukrainian and international art exhibitions.
Today, Vasylkiv majolica products have high collector's value and are considered iconic examples of Ukrainian Soviet retro design and applied art.
