Professional Description: A classic masterpiece of the Lviv school of artistic ceramics from the Soviet era—the small-scale sculpture "Hutsul Girl with a Lamb." The figurine is executed in a distinct, expressive ethnic style with understated decor, masterfully capturing the warmth and care in the girl's gestures. The subject depicts a seated Hutsul girl in traditional folk attire and a headscarf, tenderly holding a curly lamb close to her.
The piece is distinguished by soft, fluid forms, detailed graphic accents rendered in cobalt blue, and traditional Carpathian-style ornamentation on the clothing and headwear. A vibrant colored glaze gives the figure a rich, lustrous finish. This model is officially cataloged, holds significant artistic value, and is consistently sought after by collectors of Ukrainian Soviet-era majolica and original ethnic-style ceramics.
