Description product
Highly artistic Soviet plastic of a collection level in the highest grade of execution. The expressive composition of Oksana Zhnikrup recreates a dramatic plot of jealousy: the ardent beloved concubine of Khan Zarem falls in despair to the shoulder of her lord, vainly begging to return her former love. Khan Girey himself is depicted as alienated and cold, his thoughts already belong to another captive.
The sculpture is distinguished by the delicate modeling of complex poses, the elegant plasticity of the bodies and the deep elaboration of the folds of clothing. The bright, detailed painting of the oriental costume (traditional harem pants and harem bodice) is complemented by abundant gilding of details, which emphasizes the high quality of the product and gives the figure a special collector's shine. The original factory red stamp of the highest grade KEHZ and the handwritten shift/artist number are clearly preserved on the bottom of the product.
