Not many Ukrainian brides dare to go for a boho wedding. We were lucky to engage in a wedding decoration for Yulia Yurkovskaya, a florist who as a real floral trendsetter was into art nouveau and boho styles.
Festive table centerpieces were trendy rustic with that typical sort of slightly messy look, rich greenery in bouquets and vintage vases and flowerpots. As for the colours, Julia was comfortable with mixing a fancy deep plum shade with rich green. Which naturally caused the conservative guests raising their eyebrows, and then – the wow effect.
The bride’s words to LoraShen efforts were: “The wedding was styled somewhere between boho and art deco. It blended everything – ancient Greek and Roman patterns, refined Bohemian Paris, and abstract cubism. But in fact, my husband and I were picking everything, starting with the dress and the suit to floral decor, with a fair share of beautability. We can wear our outfits in everyday life, and I still enjoy the flowers at home."
