The characters of the Nutcracker are coming to life from the end of November in ballets, books, bedtime stories for children, in window displays…
In the Nutcracker concept for the Fairmont Grand Hotel, we not only revived the classic fairy tale but also recreated the romantic atmosphere that has been associated with it for hundreds of years.
The Christmas tree will be the visual embodiment of the ballet. It's like it was wrapped with music garlands along with a dancing ballerina next to it, with an old clock instead of the top. One need only look at the Christmas tree and Tchaikovsky's Symphony and the legendary ballet emerged before your eyes the same hour.
Light conquers darkness again. In a fairy tale, in a ballet, and in our installation.
